The Great Bay Oyster House, Greer, SC

GREER. Located in downtown Greer, this relaxed, friendly hangout brims over with locals on weekend evenings. Great Bay serves up galvanized bucket loads of oysters, clams, and shrimp. The menu features the oyster variety of the week, available raw by the half or full dozen. Seafood is prepared straight from the boat, and most is available raw, steamed, broiled or fried. Tantalizing po boys are stuffed with the crisp vinegar based house coleslaw and piled high with your choice of fried seafood. Other great choices include the Kobe beef burger and boneless pork loin. Exposed brick walls and tasteful marine-themed art and photographs adorn the interior, and two large dining rooms posses a fully stocked bar, complete with tasty microbrews and plenty of buckets for the shells. Smart casual attire.
